Livestand, a living digital magazine

Livestand was my first endeavor at Yahoo! when I joined in 2011. At a time when the iPad was fairly new, this Flipboard-esque app was meant to be the ultimate personalized reading experience.

Users could curate the app not only from Yahoo! properties (News, Sports, Lifestyle, etc), but could also add their favorite RSS feeds. We created different templates and styles for displaying the full article text, which complemented the theme of each article. For example, sports and lifestyle article templates would utilize different fonts, graphics, and styles.
